  • Hello!

Welcome to my blog - thank you for visiting!

I'm a Kent Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Fordwich, just outside Canterbury and I'm passionate about beautiful wedding photography which tells a story and captures the emotion and ambiance of the day. My style is relaxed, empathetic and unobtrusive, the best way (and the only way I know) to document one of the most significant, intimate days of your life. I like to think that i offer an exceptionally personal service and getting to know you is key.

If my approach and style of photography mirrors your vision for recording your wedding and you are looking for a unique record of your day, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you!

I also photograph families in Kent and my family home in Jersey, Channel Islands, my preference being to shoot on location rather than a starched white background. Besides being more dynamic, the shoot is intended to be fun and a lovely memory for all those involved. Should you decide that it's time to update your family portraits, why not book me to spend a couple of hours with you at your favourite location?

I hope you enjoy the forthcoming posts as much as I enjoy sharing.

The Wedding of Natalie & David – The Church of Our Lady, St Martins, Jersey and celebrations at Cardington House, St Aubins Jersey

I’d been looking forward to shooting Natalie and David’s wedding for some time, since they booked me a number of months ago to document their wedding.  Their church celebrations took place in St Martins, a parish close to my heart, and then the celebrations were held at Cardington House in St Aubins.  Cardington House is a fabulously chic venue which has the most amazing views across the bay and harbour of St Aubin’s and beyond to St Helier.

The preparations started at Cardington House.  When I arrived Natalie was having her hair styled by my cousin (Paul at Philosophy Hair, St Helier), no less – it was great to work together…  Natalie was incredibly calm and the atmosphere was lovely.  I started by shooting some of the beautiful accessories and wedding gown which Natalie had chosen.   Meanwhile in the grounds, David was dressing his beloved Land Rover, with the help of his ushers and father.

The weather was looking unsettled, we did get a small shower, but then it cleared up and it was beautifully sunny and warm…..  after the ceremony we headed down to St Aubin’s bay for some shots.  Natalie looked radiant and I loved the way the sun caught the sequins in her veil – beautiful!
