  • Hello!

Welcome to my blog - thank you for visiting!

I'm a Kent Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Fordwich, just outside Canterbury and I'm passionate about beautiful wedding photography which tells a story and captures the emotion and ambiance of the day. My style is relaxed, empathetic and unobtrusive, the best way (and the only way I know) to document one of the most significant, intimate days of your life. I like to think that i offer an exceptionally personal service and getting to know you is key.

If my approach and style of photography mirrors your vision for recording your wedding and you are looking for a unique record of your day, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you!

I also photograph families in Kent and my family home in Jersey, Channel Islands, my preference being to shoot on location rather than a starched white background. Besides being more dynamic, the shoot is intended to be fun and a lovely memory for all those involved. Should you decide that it's time to update your family portraits, why not book me to spend a couple of hours with you at your favourite location?

I hope you enjoy the forthcoming posts as much as I enjoy sharing.

The Wedding of Tom & Kate, St Mary’s Church and Celebrations at Perry Farm St Mary’s Jersey

Wow! What a wonderful day in August for a wedding – sunshine and wall to wall blue skies!

Tom and Kate’s church service at St Mary’s Church in Jersey was followed by the reception and wedding breakfast at Perry Farm, St Mary’s. Fun, laughter and touching moments were in abundance.  It was a lovely relaxed day in the most beautiful setting and fun was had by all!

Here are some of my favourite images of the day..

Tom and his ushers were very cool and collected as they made their way from the reception venue along the hydrangea flanked lane – a shrub which I’ve always associated with Jersey, after applying the finishing touches to the marquee…Kate had the inspired idea to hire a vintage Tantivy Coach to transport some of the wedding party to the church…

Cool shades!capturing the guests arriving, another important element of story telling…Kate’s four delightful bridesmaids!Kate looked radiant as she approached the church with her brother to be greeted by her excited bridesmaids! The church of St Mary’s was full of family and friends and their singing was so uplifting, it was a beautiful, moving ceremony…The boys made a great job ensuring every last drop was used up!after being ‘counted down’ to reach the top of tower of Perry Farm i was able to capture the entire wedding party – luckily I don’t have a phobia of heights!!Whilst Tom, Kate and their guests enjoyed a wonderful wedding breakfast feast, I took some time out to stroll around the beautiful gardens which have been lovingly nurtured over a number of years by John and Barbara at their home, Perry Farm in St Mary’s.

The speeches were wonderfully entertaining – humorous and touching….and the winner of the hula hoop spinning rounds – fantastic, great fun!Congratulations Tom and Kate!

and mainly thanks for being a pleasure to work with – throughout the process, but especially on the big day. the results? well they speak for themselves!
