• Hello!

Welcome to my blog - thank you for visiting!

I'm a Kent Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Bridge, just outside Canterbury and I'm passionate about beautiful wedding photography which tells a story and captures the emotion and ambiance of the day. My style is relaxed, empathetic and unobtrusive, the best way (and the only way I know) to document one of the most significant, intimate days of your life. I like to think that i offer an exceptionally personal service and getting to know you is key.

If my approach and style of photography mirrors your vision for recording your wedding and you are looking for a unique record of your day, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you!

I also photograph families in Kent and my family home in Jersey, Channel Islands, my preference being to shoot on location rather than a starched white background. Besides being more dynamic, the shoot is intended to be fun and a lovely memory for all those involved. Should you decide that it's time to update your family portraits, why not book me to spend a couple of hours with you at your favourite location?

I hope you enjoy the forthcoming posts as much as I enjoy sharing.

Lympne Castle Wedding Photographer – The marriage of David and Emma

Emma and David got married mid February at St Stephens Chuch, Lympne near Hythe in Kent.  Emma and David chose me to document their marriage after the Revd Nicholas Cooper had suggested they contact me, which was a lovely recommendation!

They had held their celebrations at the perfectly positioned Lympne Castle which has the most wonderful views over the countryside and the coast – not to mention being seeped in history…

Emma looked very beautiful in her wedding gown and her laced veil was stunning.  I loved her choice of vibrantly coloured bouquets – they brightened up the misty February morning as did her infectious smile!  David and his best man and ushers all looked very handsome and dapper in their and morning suits with the splash of peachy/orange corsage!

The service was lovely and as mentioned in previous posts, the light in the church is most beautiful which is a rare luxury in my experience and the backdrop of stained glass lets light stream in and create a wonderful warm glow.

Here are a few of my favourite images from the day…

Congratulations Emma & David!
