• Hello!

Welcome to my blog - thank you for visiting!

I'm a Kent Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Bridge, just outside Canterbury and I'm passionate about beautiful wedding photography which tells a story and captures the emotion and ambiance of the day. My style is relaxed, empathetic and unobtrusive, the best way (and the only way I know) to document one of the most significant, intimate days of your life. I like to think that i offer an exceptionally personal service and getting to know you is key.

If my approach and style of photography mirrors your vision for recording your wedding and you are looking for a unique record of your day, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you!

I also photograph families in Kent and my family home in Jersey, Channel Islands, my preference being to shoot on location rather than a starched white background. Besides being more dynamic, the shoot is intended to be fun and a lovely memory for all those involved. Should you decide that it's time to update your family portraits, why not book me to spend a couple of hours with you at your favourite location?

I hope you enjoy the forthcoming posts as much as I enjoy sharing.

A visit to Honfleur!

I’d been looking forward to a long weekend away for some time and the second weekend in June would be the only window of opportunity to take a trip!  After visiting Honfleur, on the Normandy coast line, some years ago, we’d always promised ourselves that we’d go back there.

After much research, with the help of Alistair Sawday and Trip Adivsor!, I found a real gem in La Petite Folie. Catherine and Penny were wonderful hosts – seeing to our every need and providing freshly baked cakes, coffee and tea in the afternoons and a fabulous continental breakfast in the morning.  The room was just beautiful – a lovely mix of 18th Century and modern day furnishing and a wonderful view to the garden and coast line beyond.

So – here are a few images from our time away….

La Petite Folie!

I loved Penny’s choice of decor – très chic!

Day 2 we ventured along the Normandy coastline – beginning at the very fashionable Durbanville – the weather was fair – a bit on the chilly side for June – mustn’t grumble though as at least it was dry!

Honfleur at night!
