• Hello!

Welcome to my blog - thank you for visiting!

I'm a Kent Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Bridge, just outside Canterbury and I'm passionate about beautiful wedding photography which tells a story and captures the emotion and ambiance of the day. My style is relaxed, empathetic and unobtrusive, the best way (and the only way I know) to document one of the most significant, intimate days of your life. I like to think that i offer an exceptionally personal service and getting to know you is key.

If my approach and style of photography mirrors your vision for recording your wedding and you are looking for a unique record of your day, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you!

I also photograph families in Kent and my family home in Jersey, Channel Islands, my preference being to shoot on location rather than a starched white background. Besides being more dynamic, the shoot is intended to be fun and a lovely memory for all those involved. Should you decide that it's time to update your family portraits, why not book me to spend a couple of hours with you at your favourite location?

I hope you enjoy the forthcoming posts as much as I enjoy sharing.

Chris & Issie’s Engagement Shoot – Pines Calyx, St Margaret’s Bay, Kent

Here are some of my favourite shots of Chris and Issie when we met at The Pines Calyx gardens in St Margaret’s Bay near Dover in Kent.  The gardens are truly stunning and an excellent choice of Chris and Issie and a photographers dream!  I’ve shot a couple of weddings at  The Pines and it’s fascinating how much the gardens change from month to month – there’s always something new to see and explore.  Chris and Issie were wonderfully relaxed in front of the camera. It was lovely to catch those tender moments and the fun … I look forward to seeing you next May – it’ll be here before you know it!View full post »

Kent Wedding Photographer – The wedding of Sandra & James

The Marriage of Sandra and James took place in July at All Saints Church in Staplehurst, Kent and the celebrations were held at Sandra’s parents farm nearby.  They had hired a marvellous maypole marquee which had been beautifully decorated, including fabric flags created by Sandra over a period of a number of months – a labour of love but well worth it!

The day started off with torrential rain which continued until after the ceremony and then from then on it was a super sunny, warm day – just perfect for a countryside wedding! A really lovely day!

Here are a few images from the day…

Russell Martin - Catherine was our wedding photographer in July 2011 and she did a fantastic job. Catherine is so easy to get on with and a pleasure to work with. She is able to put you at ease and forget she is there. This is helped by the pre-wedding shoot and her ability to get lost in the crowd at the wedding. She has her own fantastic style but was happy to accommodate our requirements. Due to this the outcome is nothing short of spectacular and will be cherished forever. The must-have photographer!
