What a delight Gary and Katie were to photograph – beautifully relaxed!  We briefly met back in April of this year at a wedding fayre The Old Kent Barn , which being one of their recommended suppliers ~I was exhibiting at, and subsequently Gary and Katie booked me to shoot their wedding next year.

Gary and Katie live slightly out of the area so I’d suggested a coastal shoot at Whitstable with the possibility of a sunset.  I am a real fan of countryside shoot, but you can’t beat a Whitstable sunset if you’re lucky enough to experience one!  Thankfully the weather forecast had got it wrong and we shared the warm glow of the setting sun.

An engagement shoot is a great opportunity to get to know each other a bit better and to put any nerves or fear of being in front of a camera at bay, chat about plans for the big day and generally have some fun and enjoy the scenery and experience!  Thank you Gary and Katie for being such good company – I’m very much looking forward to being part of your day next year!

Here are a few of my favourite shots from the evening…
