Kent Engagment Photography – Lauren & Michael

I met up with Lauren and Michael two weeks ago at my home in Fordwich in Kent.  It was touch and go and Lauren and i were in email contact each day with weather forecast updates!  Luckily it stayed dry and we even had some sunshine!!

Lauren and and Michael met whilst studying Fine Art at the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury (UCA) and got engaged while touring New Zealand together.  They live out of area now, so it was nice for them to come back to the place where they first met!

I’ve mentioned it in previous posts, but I love the landscape in Fordwich and  it’s quite fascinating to see the rate of how quickly it changes.  I’m always looking for different angles and locations to shoot in the area – and the coppice woods gives such a variety of colour and texture it’s not difficult to be inspired!

After a slightly tentative start, Lauren and Michael relaxed into their engagement shoot wonderfully!  Here are a few of my favourites from the afternoon.

I just love this shot of Lauren and the way the pool of light illuminates her face – very beautiful!

I love the way these trees frame Lauren & Michael – and Lauren’s top complimented the colours of the foliage in the background perfectly!
