Tankerton, Kent Engagement Shoot with Emma & Tim

I met up with Emma & Tim on Sunday early evening at Tankerton Slopes when amazingly the sun was shining.   I am unfortunately for my family and friends rather weather forecast obsessed and the BBC is generally pretty good, so I was able to pre-warn Emma and Tim to bring along their sun glasses – so after dusting these off – we headed off down the slopes to the beach and made our way to Whitstable.  Emma and Tim were lovely to work with – very relaxed and Emma soon showed hints of being a little bit mischievous – the shoot was great fun!

The engagement shoot is the precursor to the shots taken on the day of a couples wedding, and this time spent getting to know a couple is invaluable to making a connection, talking through the order of the day, assessing what couples are comfortable with in front of the lens and how they interact with each other and they get to know me a little better – so really useful all round.

Here are a few of my favourite shots from the evening….

Love this image of Emma and Tim – beautiful…

Looking forward to seeing you in August!
