Emma and David got married mid February at St Stephens Chuch, Lympne near Hythe in Kent.  Emma and David chose me to document their marriage after the Revd Nicholas Cooper had suggested they contact me, which was a lovely recommendation! Lympne Castle Wedding Photographer, Kent – The Wedding of Katherine & Sean

I shot Katherine & Sean’s wedding earlier this month. Their legal ceremony took place at Lympne Castle and their marriage was blessed in the neighbouring church, St Stephen, in Kent. Katherine’s preparations for her wedding took place at her parent’s home in New Romney, Sean had stayed in near by B & B so I was able to spend 15 minutes or so with Sean, his best men (he had two!) and ushers before meeting Katherine. It was a beautiful, blustery summers day.  Katherine looked beautiful and I loved the way her hair was styled with the added vintage style hair piece and matching jewellery. Here are some of my favourite images from the day… […]

Duncan & Lizzie’s Wedding – Lympne Castle, Hythe, Kent

The day started for me on a sunny morning, mid June, by travelling to Lizzie’s parents home in Kent where I was warmly greeted by a very calm Lizzie, who was joined by her mother, father and sister, who had travelled from New Zealand and a girlfriend who Lizzie’s make-up artist for the day.  I started by shooting some of the supporting detail shots, as I often do so as to get folk used to me being around.  Lizzie’s flowers were stunning, particularly chosen for their scent and included herbs, and one of my favourites, honeysuckle – beautiful! It was then off to meet Duncan and his best man and ushers at St Stephen’s Church Lympne, Kent where I found them all to be in good form!  The light in this church is just amazing, clean and plenty of it, and the grounds are lovely too. The ceremony was very touching and Lizzie looked amazing! After the throwing of the confetti at the lych gate the wedding party headed for Lympne Castle for the celebrations!  The castle, which dates back to the 13th Century is spectacularly placed and it’s high vantage point allows views of the South Coast, and on a clear day, France.  The team at the Castle are very attentive and they run a very tight ship!  I was very pleased when they asked me to be one of their preferred suppliers! After a few days of  unsettled weather, the sun did manage to shine for a while and the rain held off.  The speeches were very entertaining as was the music and dancing!  Here is a selection of some of my favourite images of the day.
