I was delighted to photograph the marriage of Helen and Simon at Chilston Park near Lenham in Kent in August.  Chilston Park is a very stylish venue set amongst beautiful Kent countryside and i was very pleased to be shooting at this venue again.

My day stated off by meeting Helen and her bridesmaids at her parent’s house.  Everyone was very relaxed and there were pastries and hot coffee a plenty.  Helen and her bridesmaids completed their preparations at Chilston Park so I headed off to meet them there.  Helen was also joined by her young nieces and daughter who were flower girls and just adorable – they looked enchanting in their pretty dresses!

After their ceremony, we headed off to a near by church for their marriage to be blessed where they were joined by their wedding party.  It was a beautiful service and it was wonderful to be a part of.

It was a really super day full of joy. Here are a few images from the day…

Helen had given her bridesmaids a gift box full of goodies – a lovely touch…

We were lucky enough to have a break from the rain so swiftly took the opportunity to take some shots around the grounds.  Helen and Simon were very relaxed, the light was very soft and we got some beautifully natural shots…

There was a fantastic sweet table set up – what temptation!!

Helen and Simon had organised an ice cream van later on in the evening – Simon and his brother soon got into the swing of serving the super soft swirly ice cream!  The candy floss took me back a few years!
