I’d been looking forward to shooting Emily and Chris’s wedding for getting on for 18 months and the day in mid April had finally arrived! The day was a wonderful celebration of a beautiful couple being joined together in marriage and family and friends coming together to celebrate. It was a jammed packed day and Emily and Chris had thought of everything – the afternoon and evening celebrations were fantastic and included an alcoholic ice cream van, musical entertainment, a taxi photobooth and fire eaters – oh and even flip flops for tiring feet!
My day started off by joining Chris and his Groomsmen at the Wayside Cafe at St Brelade’s Bay– has to be done! Chris was looking pretty calm when I arrived. We all quickly went down onto the beach before breakfast was served to take a few casual shots. The sky was clear and it was a beautiful morning! I then headed off to meet Emily, her bridesmaids, page boys and flower girls and mother at The Royal Yacht Hotel at St Helier. All was certainly very busy – there was plenty to capture and the penthouse suite was lovely and roomy and had the most fantastic views over St Helier!
Emily and Chris’s marriage took place at St Ouens Church where the service was beautiful and very personal. The celebrations were held very near by in a marque in grounds which overlooked the bay of St Ouen – just stunning!
It was a joyous celebration – full of happiness!
Here are a few of my favourite images from the day….

Chris and Emily’s cake was spectacular!
