I’d been looking forward to documenting Dan and Laura’s wedding since we met for their Whitstable engagement shoot (click here if you missed the blog posting) – they were such a delight to photograph – a mix of tender moments and fun – it’s what it’s all about!
So on to the big day! Dan and Laura had chosen The Maiden’s Tower at Leeds Castle for their special day. Make up and hair was in progress when I met with Laura who was joined by her bridesmaid and mother – Laura was super calm and collected! The castle was buzzing with visitors that day – it felt like the hottest day of the year so keeping hydrated was a must for all of us if weren’t going to melt!
I made my way over to the Island to meet up with Dan who was putting the final touches to complete their vision for their wedding breakfast decor – the room looked fabulous!
The day felt so intimate and I felt so privileged to be a part of their day – a day of emotion and fun – such a great wedding party. Laura was the most beautiful bride and Dan made a very dashing groom – the surroundings are so striking – the perfect backdrop for these elegant newlyweds!
I was thrilled when Dan and Laura left the following feedback for me recently…
“Catherine was brilliant from day one. She is extremely easy to get on with which makes the whole experience easier whilst maintaining professionalism throughout. The engagement shoot we had was perfect to put us at ease and definitely recommended as it helped us to relax in front of the camera. We decided against having an album with the package we chose at first, but after seeing just how good the images are, we have changed our mind and will be asking Catherine to design one for us as her attention to detail really is that good. We barely noticed Catherine on the wedding day at all yet she managed to capture everything brilliantly. We are 2 very happy customers, thank you Catherine!!”
Here are a few of my favourite images of the day….
