Dawn and Duncan got married at Little Hermitage at the beginning of March this year. I had visited the venue a couple of weeks before hand to view the grounds and get a feeling for the venue. The thing that stuck me firstly were the beautiful chandeliers in most of the guest rooms – so forgive me for indulging in the following detail shots of these and other features – but I just thought they were too beautiful not to!
The day started off with torrential rain but thankfully the clouds cleared to a reveal a wonderful blue sky.
The ceremony was very intimate as Dawn and Duncan were joined by family and close friends – they then had a big party in the evening to celebrate with more good friends. The venue had a really elegant feel to it – yet comfortable and welcoming at the same time.
I’ve chosen a small selection of some of my favourite images of the day….
A family friend drove Dawn and her father from her family home in this beautiful vintage Rolls Royce
Dawn wore her beautiful smile all day – so happy!
Little-Hermitage, in Higham, Kent is a Grade II listed Georgian manor house dating from ‘the Age of Elegance’ – the 18th century. The weather couldn’t have been better for drinks and canapés outside the front of the house…
Dawn had come up with the genius idea of creating bottle covers which had images from both sets of parents and grandparents weddings – it was a really lovely personal touch!
After some groups shots I had a window of opportunity before the wedding breakfast and before we lost the light to take some shots of Dawn and Duncan around the grounds…
Let the first dance begin!
A really super day! Congratulations Dawn and Duncan!
