I was so excited when Robert and Anita contacted me so discuss photographing their wedding at Wilderness Wedding Venue , which is hidden away in a beautiful green rolling valley in East Kent. The setting is stunning, very private and tranquil – surrounded by nature with incredible uninterrupted views.

Robert and Anita wanted a relaxed, informal feel for their wedding – the emphasis being on surrounding themselves with their family and friends (a number of whom were staying in the glamping area), good food and their favourite music.  They were joined by the highly talented and enchanting Ma Polaines Great Decline and later in the day The Orange Circus played on into the night.  What a treat for all and the mood of both bands was just perfect for the setting and occasion.

After Robert and Anita’s beautiful, emotional ceremony (and confetti throwing!), it was time for all to meander back to the fabulous Giant Kata Tipis within the woods for afternoon tea which was delicate and tasty, created by Tayberry Foods.  Further treats were in store, including homemade lemoncello and candy floss – a huge hit with the adults, as well the children.

The weather was glorious – warm and sunny with the most wonderful sunset – just perfect for Robert and Anita’s magical Wilderness Wedding!

Here are some of my favourite images from their day…

Here’s some lovely feedback they gave me…

Catherine inspired confidence from our first contact and always helpful and informative. Her photographs of our wedding are simply stunning, capturing the day and the natural beauty of the venue perfectly. We had wanted our day documented without too many posed photos and Catherine was able to include loads of personal moments without intruding. Her selection and editing of photos have given us a wonderful record of a perfect day.
