Lisa and Tony got married earlier this month at St Ouen’s Manor in Jersey and then for their celebrations they chose The L’Horizon at St Brelade’s Bay – a fabulous venue which backs onto the beach.  We experienced a heatwave over the Easter period – which was very unexpected – glorious weather but of course overseas guests had packed for Spring temperatures – but it did mean that there was an opportunity to paddle in the sea!  The warm temperatures continued through the day and into the evening…

I started shooting some preparation shots with Lisa in St Helier, who was joined by her mother, sister, sister-in-law to be and nieces so there was a lovely air of excitement.   I love to capture the anticipation and the busyness of the preparation – when everyone thinks they have all the time – then before you know it, it’s that wonderful moment when you slip into your wedding gown…

Lisa and Tony had hired a fabulous VW Camper Van as transport for Lisa and her bridesmaids and mother to the Manor and then back to the L’Horizon for the celebrations!

Here are a few of my favourite shots from the day….

I loved the colour of the camper van – it complimented the spring colours and the grounds of the manor  (not to mention the colour of the bridesmaids dresses!) perfectly!

a final group hug before heading for the ceremony – lovely…

I love this shot – Lisa is beautifully serene and elegant and Tony looks so proud …

loved the confetti shots!

St Ouens Manor has an abundance of areas to shoot around and the spring time colours of the flowers and blossoms on the trees was just beautiful!

Tony is wonderfully expressive and a great smile!

I love this shot – what fun!
