What an amazing day in July Natalie and Russell had for their wedding day at Swarling Manor in Petham, Kent!  It was a glorious warm sunny day – blue sky, beautiful countryside and fabulous landscaped gardens.

This is the first time I had shot a wedding at Swarling Manor, which happens to be virtually on my doorstep and after doing my initial recee around the grounds with Lizzy, the wedding coordinator for the venue,  a week previous to the wedding, I was looking forward to exploring the manor and grounds further.

My day started off by meeting Natalie and her bridesmaids at the cottage in the grounds of the manor.  There was certainly an air of excitement and Natalie had everything in control!  I then met up with Russell and his best man – both looked very dapper!

All of Natalie and Russell’s planning resulted in a very relaxed, fun day.  Here are some of my favourite images of the day….

one very excited bridesmaid!

Natalie looked so radiant – beautiful!

The gardens at Swarling Manor are beautiful and cleverly landscaped, with lots of pockets of space and shady spots…

Natalie’s attention to detail was fantastic – a thoughtful touch to research the origin of their guests names

The rolling landscape is breath taking, especially on such a beautiful summers day!

Maddie’s (Mama Feelgoods) famous berry meringue!

Catching some time alone…
