Paula and Neil were married at The Abode Hotel in Canterbury, Kent in May – on the sunniest, warmest day of the year so far!

Paula had created a mood board which she shared with me at our first meeting.  Paula’s mood board gave me a really good insight into her vision for their special day.  Needless to say, Paula’s attention to detail was fantastic and a real joy for me to photograph!  A mood board is an excellent way of collating inspirational ideas, be it in the form of magazine cuttings of imagery or text or some samples perhaps – a great tip for Brides to be!

My day started off by capturing some images of Neil, his son and Brother at a hotel in Canterbury which is close to the historic City walls and a short walk to the very stylish  Abode Hotel in Canterbury high street where the bridal preparations were taking place!  Paula looked stunning and i loved her selection of beautiful vintage jewellery!

It was a very special wedding and I was delighted to be part of Paul and Neil’s special day – it was a real pleasure to capture their day.

Here are just a few of my favourite images of the day…

Paula had chosen images of her family to create very personal table seating plan

What a fantastic wedding.  A beautiful couple and a relaxed, fun wedding party – a great day!  Congratulations Paula & Neil!
