A June Wedding at The Old Kent Barn
It was lovely to be shooting another wedding at The Old Kent Barn – located in Swingfield near Folkestone in Kent. It’s a fabulous venue and Hilary and Claire’s attention to detail and slick organisation ensure every wedding is a very personal affair and runs like clockwork!
I started my day off in Amanda’s suite at the barn where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. There was a lovely buzz of excitement as they prepared themselves for the ceremony! Amanda looked very sophisticated and I loved her elegant dress and pretty hair piece!
I then walked over to the original barn and captured a few shots of Steve and his best man in their final stages of preparations – both of whom were in good humour!
It was a really lovely day and it was a pleasure to be part of Amanda and Steve’s special day.

After the speeches and when the sun was lower in the sky (so to avoid unattractive shadows and squinting!) I took Amanda and Steve around the beautiful grounds. They were both very relaxed and we had some fun and got some beautifully lit shots…
And fun was had by all! A really super day! Congratulations Steve & Amanda!
