  • Hello!

Welcome to my blog - thank you for visiting!

I'm a Kent Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Fordwich, just outside Canterbury and I'm passionate about beautiful wedding photography which tells a story and captures the emotion and ambiance of the day. My style is relaxed, empathetic and unobtrusive, the best way (and the only way I know) to document one of the most significant, intimate days of your life. I like to think that i offer an exceptionally personal service and getting to know you is key.

If my approach and style of photography mirrors your vision for recording your wedding and you are looking for a unique record of your day, please contact me - I'd love to hear from you!

I also photograph families in Kent and my family home in Jersey, Channel Islands, my preference being to shoot on location rather than a starched white background. Besides being more dynamic, the shoot is intended to be fun and a lovely memory for all those involved. Should you decide that it's time to update your family portraits, why not book me to spend a couple of hours with you at your favourite location?

I hope you enjoy the forthcoming posts as much as I enjoy sharing.

Lympne Castle Wedding Photographer, Kent – The Wedding of Katherine & Sean

I shot Katherine & Sean’s wedding earlier this month. Their legal ceremony took place at Lympne Castle and their marriage was blessed in the neighbouring church, St Stephen, in Kent.

Katherine’s preparations for her wedding took place at her parent’s home in New Romney, Sean had stayed in near by B & B so I was able to spend 15 minutes or so with Sean, his best men (he had two!) and ushers before meeting Katherine.

It was a beautiful, blustery summers day.  Katherine looked beautiful and I loved the way her hair was styled with the added vintage style hair piece and matching jewellery.

Here are some of my favourite images from the day…

It was lovely to be able to capture Sean’s reaction as he saw Katherine for the first time…I love this shot of Katherine…Katherine’s sister sang for the congregation, it was a lovely moment… the Church has the most amazing light – very beautiful…Peonies – one of my favourite flowers – stunning! The Castle grounds are stunning and there is an abundance of areas to shoot around.  I like the stature of the main door and the way it frames Katherine & Sean.  Having shot their engagement shoot a few months previously, they were both wonderfully relaxed when it came to stealing some time away for the following shots…
