Helena & Chris’s wedding was held on the 10th September at the Mediaeval Church at St Brelade’s Bay in Jersey. Steeped in history – I knew when I met Helena and Chris at the rehearsal that it would be very special. Helena’s dress and accessories had a wonderful vintage style and she looked absolutely beautiful – check out Chris’s reaction when he sees her for the first time! The heavens opened just as Helena arrived at the church and it continued until about 4.30 in the afternoon – not that the heavy rain dampened spirits – plus we did manage to get a few shots on the beach!
The celebration venue, St Brelade’s Bay Hotel, had been stylishly lit by one of Chris’s ushers which created a fantastic ambiance as we lost the day light. A lovely day….
I love this shot of Helena – she looks so radiant…
catching a moment alone…
one of the many honeymoon destinations!
During the wedding breakfast, I popped over the road I took in the view of the coast and took the opportunity to shoot an image of the church from the beach – what a wonderful location!
As I mentioned in my posting earlier this year when I shot Helena & Chris’s engagement shoot, Chris has the most infectious smile – lovely…
very chic…..
Once again you have done a fantastic job… Everyone must be really pleased with the photos…. The location is stunning and I really liked the shot on the beach recording the church …. a true history moment.
Thank you for your lovely comments – it really was a lovely day – I’m very lucky to be able to shoot at such wonderful locations!
Our day went by so fast that we hardly remember all of it. These pictures are amazing and capture real intimate moments that we almost missed in the excitement of it all… and of course captured the lovely rain… which seems to be a theme in all things wedding related for us!
Thank you so much for being so lovely through the whole process and providing us with such wonderful reminders of our memories to treasure.
Helena & Chris
