I was delighted to hear from Rebecca when she first contacted me to ask if I was available to photograph her Jersey Elopement with James. Their legal ceremony was held at The Old Magistrates Court and I was very happy to stand in as a witness for them (along with my husband). I loved that they just wanted to escape to Jersey to become husband and wife! We had a number of discussions before they arrived in Jersey, one of which was their portrait photos. Being that the ceremony was at 1pm in June, I suggested they split their time with me and I document their marriage and then meet up an hour or so before sunset on the West of the island as the light would be so much better suited to portraiture. We couldn’t have timed things better as we were super lucky with the light in the evening – it was just gorgeous. Rebecca elected to have a change of outfit in the evening which pared well with fit flops for the beach. You were both a joy to photograph and Rebecca, you have the most beautiful smile which shone through.

Here are a few of my favourite images from the day.

Rebecca and James kindly gave me this feedback…..

My husband and I travelled to Jersey for our wedding this year. Catherine was our photographer. Before, during and after our visit to Jersey Catherine went above and beyond. We cannot recommend Catherine Hill Photography enough. We had the most relaxed day. Catherine captured the most beautiful images. Very creative and talented photographer.
