I’d been looking forward to Natalie and Karl’s engagement shoot for some time after they booked me a couple of years ago to shoot their wedding in July at The Old Kent Barn.  It was a gorgeous afternoon for their shoot and we were just in time before the last of the pretty blossom had fallen from the trees.

Natalie has such a pretty smile and Karl didn’t take too long to get over his nerves of being photographed.  This is why this kind of shoot is an ideal prelude to photography on a couple’s wedding day.  It was a lovely afternoon and it was a great opportunity to talk about Natalie and Karl’s plans for their big day!
