After rescheduling Kelli and Mark’s due to the rain and gales, it was a welcome relief that the weather that evening was beautiful and we shared the most stunning sunset, which even as I drove back to my home in Bridge, filled the sky as far as I could see. So, onto the shoot! Kelli and Mark live in a beautiful village near Ash, in Kent. Their home is nestled amongst an apple and cherry orchard – brilliant for a photoshoot, even if most of the blossom had been blown off the trees! We also spent a bit of time in a near by rape seed field – the vivid yellow blossom was striking – even though Kelli had mentioned she wasn’t a huge fan of the colour yellow, I think I might of changed her opinion, even if only ever so slightly!
Kelli is a professional portrait photographer, so I was very flattered when she asked me last year to shoot her marriage to Mark this coming August which sounds like it’s going to be a wonderful relaxed, family occasion – I can’t wait! Kelli and Mark were so relaxed in front of the camera and have a lovely fun relationship which was fantastic to capture.
Here are some of my favourite images from our time together…
Thank you Kelli and Mark! Very much looking forward to your wedding in August! x
