It’s such a busy time at the moment and I’ve been looking forward to posting some of my favourite images from Clare and Jon’s July wedding, so I thought I’d post in two parts – part two coming soon!

What a beautiful day for a wedding – we had wall to wall sunshine and blue skies – one of the warmest days so far in the year in mid July. Clare and Jon had planned a countryside themed wedding – an idyllic church set in the heart of the picturesque village of Hernhill near Faversham in Kent and then celebrations at their friend’s farm nearby and a marquee.

My day started off by meeting Clare, her bridesmaids, mother, son and niece at a beach house in Seasalter which backed onto the beach – exciting exploring territory for Clare and Jon’s son!  The champagne was flowing and the preparations were in full swing – such a lovely busy atmosphere.  I love capturing this part of the day – all the excitement and anticipation.

I then left to meet Jon and his groomsmen at The Red Lion pub in Hernhill, and have to say they were all extremely relaxed!  After a few pints it was time to head across the village green to the church.

After a beautiful ceremony, congratulations and confetti it was time to head to the marquee!

Here are few of my favourite images….

Too much temptation – and just perfect weather for paddling….

…well almost – can’t blame a boy for trying!

Clare arrived with her father in a delightful vintage convertible Rolls Royce.  Clare looked beautiful and so radiant and happy – how proud does her father look!

married!

part two to follow…
